San Benito Street, Hollister’s version of “main street” transforms into a street festival full of custom motorcycles, live music featuring multiple bands on multiple stages located throughout the rally venue, a ton of motorcycle & biker gear vendors and an extensive variety of street festival food.

Miss Hollister Contest, poker runs, burn-out competitions, loud pipes, give-aways and chrome-for-days.

The biker rally celebrates its 70th anniversary this year, dating back to a July 4, 1947 incident in Hollister by the Boozefighters Motorcycle Club that inspired the film, “The Wild One,” starring Marlon Brando and Lee Marvin.

The first official rally took place in 1997 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the incident.
